BUCCAL FAT PAD  REMOVAL OPERATION  (HOLLYWOOD CHEEK-BICHECTOMY)

Buccal fat removal  (bichectomy) is a procedure in which the cheekbones are made more prominent and the facial contours sharper by removing part of the deep fat cushion, called the bichet adipose tissue, located in the cheek area. People who prefer bisectomy surgery usually have plump, flat facial contours that we call square or “U”-shaped. Contrary to popular belief, bisectomy surgery is aimed at removing deep-plane adipose tissue, not superficial subcutaneous adipose tissue. Bisectomy surgery is not a slimming or face reduction surgery. It is a contouring process that is performed only by reducing some volume from the cheeks. A bichectomy is a permanent operation.
